Leaking Cash

So far thats the story of March, a few frustrating bubbles and no wins of any significance. Played few multis today but cant be bothered to go into any details, basically nowhere in 2 of them, bubbled in one of them. I did manage to win a $40 WSOP double shootout and make it to the $480 final stage on saturday night, my first real decent chance of a WSOP seat but still roughly a 1/25 shot i guess. Luck in the right places seems to be what im lacking at the moment, i know im playing ok when im in the mood, it will change, i must be patient as i have been tonight.

Readin you're last 2 posts, its good to see someone else practises a bit of drunken poker. :-) Obvioulsy you're a little better at it than me, but as a drinker my advice to you is drink on through those nasty hangovers!
Good luck with the WSOP sub mate, it'd be good to see you on tv.

Animal, if you are successful with your WSOP sub attempt (chances are you will be) on Crypto will you go to Vegas and use the cash to buy-in to the main event?

I think Clinton makes a very good point on his blog that many people will simply keep the cash.

Thank you very much and good luck at the tables.

If i get $12,000 cash to use to buy in to the main event but am not forced to buy in there is virtually no chance i will buy in. Thats a shame but i wouldnt feel like i was freerolling when playing the event (so would feel under more pressure) if i knew i could take £6000 in cash and not play. Also as with any tournament if you are buying in direct then if you cash its good but its nothing in terms of how many buy ins you have won unless you reach the top 1% places or thereabouts. £6000 would be a large chunk towards the £50k or so i need to buy a house and get on the bottom rung of the property ladder as well. I have no idea if all sites are taking the same stance on this and maybe i should look at this before playing too many subs, but my satellite multi results are probably better than cash multi results anyway so that isnt too big an issue really.
